Also featured are a parametric EQ and a shelf EQ, three DAC filters, and dynamic range control for advanced audio tailoring. The Monolith also functions as a preamp for more flexibility, so you can use powered speakers with it too. The USB input allows the DAC to reach its fullest capabilities, so I recommend using it over other inputs. The Monolith also features a USB input, a Toslink optical input, and a few others, including analog RCA and balanced inputs. The Monolith is great for any headphone and has plenty of power. They’re definitely not the absolute best DACs considering there are better options, but for this price point they are very, very good.
